Classic leather look Trapper hat Sz 59

Sizing:After having bought a cheaper (and far inferior) 59cm sized hat on eBay - which turned out to be so tight I couldn't wear it - I was wary of ordering this one. But I was not disappointing at all. Even though my head measures 56cm at the widest part I'd rather a hat is a bit too loose than too tight so I played it safe and ordered the 59cm. It's the perfect fit for me; not so big that it wobbles around on my head or falls onto my eyes, but loose enough not to be restricting. I can get 2 fingers depth (about 3cm) between the hat and my forehead so if you like a snug fit I would say the sizing is very accurate.Quality:The fake fur is lovely quality, very soft and pretty realistic. The leather type PVC is also great and not at all plasticy looking with its realistic hide effect. Some reviewers have mentioned a strong smell but I've not noticed anything more than a faint "new fabric" smell on mine. Anyway, I don't think it would do it any harm to gently hand wash it (but then I ignore labels, preferring to use common sense instead).Very good value for money and I couldn't be more pleased. I found the furryness a touch excessive and ticklish, exacerbated by a tendency to slip over the eyes as it's a bit big for me.Generally I find Medium too small but should have gone for that in this case (that's online shopping hazard not specific to this item!)It seems well made for the money and is warm enough.So if you have a big, cold head, and like fake fur and faux leather this is exactly what you need.

My hat fits like a glove..even though it's actually 2 cms larger than my actual size.So, if you don't want your hat to squish your head...buy a larger size.The leather look material reminds me of elephant hide with a distressed finish to it.It looks smooth on the photo, so that was a surprise.The smell that people are commenting about is nothing to worry about.Your nose has to be touching the fur in order to pick up the odour.And it's not as bad as what some might say.I have mine on right now, and I don't smell it.The fake fur is a bit fragile.you can easily pull out the fibres without any effort.If you meet a hefty breeze, you can probably kiss your fur bits goodbye.For the price, it's a fair deal.

HAT FITS VERY WELL NO PROBLEM..BUT IT MUST BE THE GLUE USED FOR THE FUR BUT THE WHOLE HAT SMELLS OF WEE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR I HAVE SPRAYED IT WITH AIR FRESHNER AND AM CONSIDERING WASHING IT IN A VERY COOL WASH BUT THE SMELL IS PETTY AWFULL (I HAVE EVEN LEFT IT OUTSIDE FOR A DAY IN THE COLD AND FRESH AIR BUT TO NO AVAIL) ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MOST WELCOME ..WEARING IT IS A BIT OF PAIN BUT I AM MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE PEOPLE AROUND ME THAT MAY SMELL IT AND THINKS ITS ME !Russian Ushanka - Trapper hat Sz 59cm

Been looking for a while now for a quality trapper for a bargain price and this hat fits the bill perfectly,i have a larger head size so was a great fit, other websites give no measuremets so i have wasted quite a few pounds buying "adult" sized ones only to find they were far too small, one hat purchased in "Adult" size only just fitted my 11yr old son.Wow mega quick delivery next day!!!! No extra charge like some rip off companies on here.Then there is the quality it is superb i bought it for the suede/leather look material and it is spot on lovely realistic fur lining also and as one review put it on here "it smells of cat wee" was bit worried it doesn't (thanks god )... In a nutshell buy one now you will not be disappointed super buy for the cash, and a great delivery service from "The Hat Company" well done guys great hat!!!

- Fast delivery.- Product as described.- Size 59 fits 59cm head.- As a previous reviewer mentioned it does have a odd smell to it when you first open it - but this has almost gone day 2.This is a great trapper hat for the cost - warm, well stitched (ie no loose threads or stitching gaps) and it looks good. So far I can't really fault it and hence a 5 * - hope it lasts and stands up to a bit of rain.
