Do yourself a favor and save your money for something worth it. You can buy this in the dollar store. Nothing special about the shell. It broke in half, like those plastic Easter eggs the minute we submerged it in water. My son saw this at a museum and really wanted it though I knew it would be garbage (literally). So pretty much it’s like throwing my $7 in the trash, only in this case I had to wait and soak it first in water. Did the product expand? Yes, but only just a little bit maybe 10-20% bigger than it’s original size. Not impressive. You can get much better product at a dollar store. If you are planning to get this for a lesson with your kid. May I suggest you can just teach them a lesson in charity. Find a homeless person in the street, give the cash or buy them a $7 meal. Your kid has learned a lesson plus you have made someone else happy. :) You’re welcome!
