H2O Wireless USA SIM Card - Triple SIM (Standard / Micro / Nano)

I bought this sim card before going on my holiday to New York. Firstly it arrived and the sim card was too big for my iphone so I had to take it to a phone shop to cut it to a smaller shape. This should of been of omen of what was to come. I thought I could go on the H2O website and add the credit I wanted. The website would not take my credit card as it was not based in the USA. I did an online chat with a H2O customer service rep on their website. They told me I could go to any 7/11 convenience store and top up the card and the phone would work. When I arrived I found a 7/11 store and surprise suprise they had never heard of H20. I walked around to different phone shops who never had heard of H20. Eventually found a phone shop who told me to go to Best Buy which I did. Went to Best Buy but they did not do top ups but sold the actually sim cards.. absolutely nightmare. I ended up just throwing away the H2O sim card and walking into a T Mobile shop. Please do not buy this for your american holiday, its not worth the hassle and totally waste of money!!!

If it seems too good to be true IT IS. This is just a sim card yet it looks like a great deal on a bundle - IT'S NOT!!!I tried to activate in USA and you have to take up an expensive bundle to get the card working otherwise you have a card that dies within the day after activation.Both the supplier and H2O are virtually impossible to contact without a working phone which you haven't got, they are not responsive on "Live Chat" either over the Internet.I gave it one star because there wasn't a lower score.Go with a reputable firm that you can contact or wait till you get to the States and buy a card there.

obviously you need to buy a top up to go with the sim card and it's not the easiest thing in the world to top up before you arrive in the states, but the staff are really helpful and you can ring them prior to leaving the country to ensure that everything's set up and ready for you to use before you get there (i'm a bit OCD so the idea of not knowing if the card would work before I got to America was too much for me to handle)didn't have any problems with reception for text and calling - I didn't use with a smart phone so I can't comment on the data package, but we'd've been really lost without a cell phone on our trip and h2o was perfect for our needs

I really only saw the sole 5 star review, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased this. The heading on Amazon is very misleading, and the answer back from the supplier, Startfaktor, was that the heading is Amazon's own heading. I have the email if anyone else thinks this is wrong. As others have said, you have to rely on finding a 7/11 or Best Buy wherever you're going to in the US to charge it, as the website won't accept UK Debit/Credit cards. I want to be able to make/receive calls, and use the internet as soon as I land, without having to drive round looking for one of the stores. Waste of money for me.

The most useless company I have ever dealt with.The card would not work which caused loads of problems once I was in the States as I bought it to keep in touch with friends.I also purchased $50 of credit for the card. Thought I would be all set to go once I got off the plane. What a joke.Stay away from these conmen. They are unhelpful and unfriendly and their products very questionable.

I bought two. Neither worked on the H20 website when we landed. We called H20 who explained we could not use them without a USA address or credit card. We could not return them either from the USA. I emailed asking how I could get a refund/return from the USA as we'd be out there for some time but go no response. Therefore sadly lots money on 2 sims we could not use. Very disappointed.

you have to pay 60 usd or 40 gbp for 2gb datayou can't activate it online, forms are not workingand you have to cut it to get to micro sim card

I second the negative comments made about this - You definately cant buy credit online as the H20 form won't accept a uk address to verify your credit card. I tried emailing customer services but got no reply. I have just returned from Florida - couldn't find a store that sold H2O topups. I bought mine on ebay from a seller who admitted to me you cant buy topups in stores there! (He conveniently sold topup cards on his site for extortionate exchange rate prices!).
