These flashlights are small enough to fit in my jacket pocket, but provided a nice powerful light. They are light enough that I did not worry about hanging one from the center hoop of my tent ceiling, yet provided enough light in lantern mode for my ten-person tent. The light was not overly powerful bright in the tent at night but was still very effective.

I have two of these flashlights and like them. I ordered a number of these as gifts - and another for me. I put the batteries in and tested each one (of 16). One was not lighting and two were dim. I took them apart (the major pieces only) and reassembled making sure everything seated well. All 16 work as they should. They are a good small flashlight, The lantern is handy. During power failures I set one in front of a mirror to light a small room. The dim feature gives a long burn time. Compact, lightweight, but bright enough to see by.

They're great when they work. 1 out of the 4 pack didn't work from the start. One out of the remaining three stopped working the first week.

I ordered 2 sets of these for Girl Scout camp and to have around the house for power outages. I was specifically looking for an LED flashlight for the kids that could convert to a lantern.All four were used the week we got them due to a power outage, so I was glad to have them.I didn’t use the batteries they came with so I cannot comment on them.Of the 4 received, 3 seem to work well. One of them flickers/the light level changes even when no one is touching it.The kids quickly lost the little hanging wire, but were able to easily use the flashlights and convert it into the lantern. The paint also easily scratched (again ...kids) but this didn’t impact the usage at all.

Disaster. All 4 broke within 2 minutes of use. Horribly low quality. One lantern wouldn't open at all and the other 3 popped right off the end. The strobe feature is awful. Not at all kid friendly.

Great item! They are really high quality. The light is so bright. You can adjust the brightness of the lantern by lowering the top. I was originally only shipped two lanterns. I notified the company and they promptly took care of it. excellent customer service!

Perfect for camping

I really like these lights, handy, small, powerful, and versatile. One of the 4 was DOA, and I emailed the company from the little card in the package, and they immediately took care of it. So I will not dock them, as they were responsive, and made the process painless. Only took one email to make it happen.
