It's OK
The batteries in the pen were dead when it arrived. Thankfully they included a second set that was fine. Overall it is an OK product but I don't know about how the cover screws on. It may just be a personal preference. I am keeping these in my cars so I think they will work fine.

More than a Tactical Pen
I haven't broken glass with it yet, but this pen could certainly be used for self defense at a moments notice. It features a strobe that will actually mess with someone's eyes in a dark environment. Great color, and function. Stays put on my MOLLE drop leg panel. It's not breaking anytime soon.

Double duty tool
