no problem with postage or delivery but the weather vane only fits the north and south into the west and east upside down due to poor alignment so it doesn't match. Otherwise just got to decide where to put it 'cos its so heavy we will need to position it on a strong bracket as the one supplied wouldn't be suitable anywhere.

Good heavy iron wind vane to replace flimsy pressed steel one that the welds rotted out on leaving the cockrell laying flat, this one is much more robust but dosent spin around much due to its weight. That said its a good bit of kit for the price.

Good cast iron weather vane, ButThe base securing brackets are madeFrom mild steel and though theySupport the vane ok I think they should be stronger, also The whole unit is smaller than the picture portrayes, still looks good.

I like the look of this weather vane,however it fails to point in the direction of the wind! It somehow seems to be weighted the wrong way and points in the opposite direction.The man who fitted it said it's made wrong, anyway have left it up because it looks nice.

The cockerel isn't big enough to catch the wind so it doesn't blow round. It's nice to look out and heavy but fails to perform its intended purpose

Very impressed whith this well made looks great yes very heavy and does need a wind not a breeze to rotate it but does give accurate reading only thing is if last reading was a south wind and the next couple of days are a west breeze it still points south till the wind picks up but it does get their lol all in all looks great very happy
