They're ok, but the area in the grip that comes in contact with the hot pot is ridged. If an edge of something hot touches the thin part between the ridges you are burned very quickly. If the hot item happens to line up where it only comes in contact with the thick part of the ridge then you are ok. If you really pay attention to how you are grabbing something you can avoid being burned most of the time, but it is a really poor design. Also you can not open your grib very wide to grab anything large. Although it was only $8 and has some purpose, I would not buy again. I'm sure there are other designs that work better

Definitely protect you from getting burned but difficult to get used to using. Lifting a big hit caserole dish from the oven and carring to the table was quite challengiing the first 1/2 dozen times. Requires good finger strength. Does keep the fingers protected though.

I have smaller hands and I can never get a good grip on dishes with the normal pot holders. These are perfect! I would advise being careful while using them to get dishes out of the oven and be mindful your wrist isn’t covered but as long as you’re laying attention these are great. Also very easy to clean!

it is better than nothing. I still use additional fabric or something since I'm still able feel the heat through the material. Also, if you have long but skinny fingers it is a little awkward. I'm still able to use of course. Just not as heat safe as I as expected.

Doesn’t work. Heat comes through in seconds. You will burn yourself.

Definitely lets plenty of heat through, especially if you hold any actual weight. If you use one to shift something or help balance, they’re fine. If you want to lift anything even as light as a sheet of cookies, you have to move fast with how hot they get.

I have a bunch of pots that have short handles. These make and them easier to use without burning my hands. The fact that they are small (less room needed to store them) and easy to clean are a plus!

Use these for backpacking. Can’t afford an burn injury in the middle of nowhere. Small, light. Packs into my small camp pot.
