## Description

Thermal Grizzly Intel 13th & 14th Gen. CPU Contact Frame

## Features

- Improved Cooling Performance: This CPU Contact Frame optimizes pressure distribution, enabling enhanced cooling performance of CPU coolers, crucial for maintaining system stability and longevity.
- Custom-designed for Intel 12th and 13th Gen CPUs: Specifically engineered to accommodate the changed dimensions of Intel Alder Lake (12th Gen) and Raptor Lake (13th Gen) processors, ensuring a perfect fit for these CPUs on the Intel socket LGA1700.
- Replaces Original Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM): This assembly aid seamlessly replaces the motherboard's original ILM, providing a more efficient cooling solution for your CPU.
- Prevents Uneven Pressure and Concave Warping: Its unique design applies pressure evenly across the CPU's surface, preventing the concave warping often caused by the standard ILM. This ensures the entire CPU surface, especially the critical "hotspot", is covered for optimal cooling.
- Supports Maximum Overclocking: By enhancing CPU cooler performance and ensuring even coverage, this product allows for overclocking to the limit, enabling you to maximize your CPU's potential safely and effectively.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you know if the screws are on tight enough? is there a click sound? i hear complaints that the stock ilm screws are to short? any advice?**
A: One of the things this product has over cheaper versions is the witness marks included around each screw hole. You mark your screw, and then turn the screw 1/4 intervals until you feel a light tension, then 1 more quarter turn. JAYZTWOCENTS did a great video on it.

**Q: Does this come with screws? I received mine but no scews**
A: You are expected to use the screws that are currently holding your ILM mechanism. On some motherboards, these can be a bit short to comfortably secure the frame, so you could try finding slightly longer ones (UNC 6-32). I used a set of longer screws to first pre-secure the frame, then one by one replace them with the original screws, and only then properly tighten things.

**Q: Made in the same Chinese factory as the 12 dollar frames? Yes.**
A: No, Thermal Grizzly Contact Frame is produced in Germany in Berlin. The quality is different. The material is high quality, the processing is better and the QM is not comparable with that from China.

**Q: Will this work with the msi z790 d4 boards?**
A: It'll work with any Z790 board you'll likely need to buy longer screws though
