The Bible Meets The Hunger Games.
Oh boy, this is one cracker of a book. Although fiction, if this was read by anyone in the Vatican, there's no doubt in my mind it would be classed as heresy. Despite that, it's great fun to read and the twist in the story about those Angels we all thought we new and love so well is a stroke of genius. I'll not spoil the story by saying any more other than I've just started reading book two of this three part tale and if it's as good as part one I'll be very happy. Give it a go, you'll be surprised in more ways than one.

A good read from start to finish
A good read from start to finish, with a very good storyline and take on a possible future. Different from your typical apocalyptic scenarios, with a few twists thrown in to keep you on your toes.(a bit gutted though, that the other two books don't have an audio option, as I like to listen to them when I'm driving up and down the motorway every night.)

Excellent book
I was a little pessimistic when I started reading 'They Who Fell', but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a real page turner. The characters were well developed and the romantic storyline was perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

... that likened this to Twilight and can honestly and happily say that this is not the case
I saw a few reviews that likened this to Twilight and can honestly and happily say that this is not the case. The characters are more complex and more emotive for both good and bad reasons, The book moves at quick pace and goes in and out of two sides of the story so at times can be difficult to follow. The author is brilliant at setting the scene and a lot of descriptive information is given to do so with less emphasis on the dialogue of the characters.I would recommend sitting and reading a good chunk to make sure you get into it, after so many pages I was hooked and read it in under a day. Looking forward to what's to come from this trilogy.

Different take on the angel myth
They where abandoned by their maker, incited to rebel, by the callous indifference of their plight. They were cast out as punishment, yet the earth suffered as a result from their tyrannical revenge on the favoured children. Servants becoming masters, humans becoming slaves. All the while a small group with the makers indelible human spirit of never relenting or giving up, formed its own rebellion. A clash of the fathers children.

It was ok but at times I found it hard ...
It was ok but at times I found it hard to follow and hard to stay engaged so at times I was having to reread things to properly understand what the writer was trying to get across. Their is so much potential there that it's a shame, and I wish that the whole romance side of things wasnt skirted around so quickly.

I really enjoyed this book and have downloaded the next one
I really enjoyed this book and have downloaded the next one. Very imaginative, sympathetic characters and suitably nasty villains. I enjoyed the way that just as the character Jana does not know whether to fully trust the angel Rhamiel neither did we the readers. I kept just waiting for him to go psycho! The overall story was very good. Looking forward to book two.

Don't bother
Started okay boring by the end of it. Was an effort to even finish it. Glad I only paid 99p for it. Certainly won't be buying the next two in the series.
