Seems to work but not consistent
I've been meaning to test one of these for a while now. Compared to other, similar devices, this is one of the most inexpensive detectors I've seen.To start, the device comes well packaged and protected. It's small, approximately 4 inches long and about 3/4 of an inch wide. There are 3 buttons: mode, sensitivity and beep/vibrate. There is also a power switch on the side. Just fair warning, when you first turn this on, it does a power-on test that causes the device to beep loudly as well as briefly turn on the flashlight and red LEDs.In terms of performance, I've tried the red LEDs on a number of cameras I have including security cameras, phone cameras, webcams and even the camera built into my notebook computer. Assuming you are in a darkened room, it seems to reflect on each of them noticeably. I'm assuming it would work the same with a hidden camera, although it would probably be a smaller reflection? In regard to detecting WIFI cameras, while the range on mine was probably around 10 - 15 feet max, it does seem to work. While testing it, I found it worked better as long as you turned up the sensitivity (which can create false positives) and that you move very slowly while rotating the device through the X, Y, and Z axes to give the antenna the best angle for reception. In my opinion, this device would be greatly improved if it had an external antenna. The flashlight seems to work fine. In regard to the GPS function, I was a bit confused as to the purpose and use of it.The only real issue I had with this was the vibrate mode. While it did work and silenced the (very) loud beeper, after about 10 minutes of use it felt as if the motor was coming loose inside the case. I didn't attempt to open it and look but the sound it made and the feel of the device vibrating changed substantially.Overall this is a neat novelty item that, while not quite as accurate as portrayed, does seem to do what is claimed to a degree. Twisting the device to move the antenna between the X, Y, and Z axis did seem to help it pick up on signals. If you're a person wanting to try a camera detector as a curiosity, this may fit the bill. If you're counting on it to reliably catch every camera you may encounter at a hotel or air B&B, you might want to look elsewhere.

Barely works
It detects WiFi devices, barely. I can’t say much for anything else. I wouldn’t rely on this to find a camera that you didn’t already know was there.

Detection Radius Is Questionable
This device has multiple features. One is its ability to find devices like phones through their signals. The directions say set it down in an area that is suspicious, and wait 5 minutes for it to detect certain things like gps, phones, and such within the nearby area. When searching for devices such as a phone it has a range meter from low range to high range, but even on high and after 5 minutes it cannot detect my phone until it is an inch or so away from it. It beeps or vibrates depending on the setting you turn it to. There is a switch on the device that turns the sound to vibrate. There is a red lens to look for hidden cameras along with a flashing red light. The light can flash slow or fast to adjust to your vision to aid in finding hidden cameras. Next is a gps finder, and that searches for magnetic forces in the area. Lastly, it has a white flash light for everyday use or emergency use. Now the directions are a bit confusing, so I’ll have to watch a video or something to make sure using it correctly, and revise this a bit. So far I feel the detection isn’t all that great, but it does detect things when I’m right next to them.

Not Sure If It Works Or Not
Okay, so I'm not sure if it works or not. I put it next to a wi-fi security camera to see if it would detect it and, though I heard a consistent beep, I also heard the beep when it wasn't in proximity to a camera, so I have no idea what's going on. The instructions are given for a model I don't have, so this thing is basically useless to me as...well, anything.I'm not even dissatisfied, per se - I'm just like, "meh"

it doesn't do a damn thing
I am positive that this doesn't have a single sensor in it. I am positive that there is just some beeping device in this thing and some little lights.I followed the directions carefully from the book, but I also have owned one in the past of another brand, and it worked fairly well. I dont know what the difference is between the two, but this one is trash.I have actual "hidden" cameras, I like to test gadgets out and review them. This thing couldn't find it at all. I turned all the lights out and shined the lights, used the viewfinder thing, nothing at all. no shine, no glare, no reflection. nothing.it can't sense signals either. I had it sitting next to my wifi router and it couldn't find anything. I had it sitting next to my gps and it couldn't find anything. I had it sitting next to my radio, it couldn't find anything. it couldn't even pick up a baby monitor.this thing is actual trash. it would be better suited for a kids toy spy set that you can get at a dollar general.
