Warhammer Games Workshop Age of Sigmar - Grombrindal: The White Dwarf (Issue 500 Celebration)

This is a great model, but be advised: this is not currently legal to play in any normal armies in Age of Sigmar. Also, the warscroll for this figure is only found in a magazine (White Dwarf), so if you want to play him (in a non-legal game with friends) then you'll need to find his scroll online and print it. He does seem to be quite strong though, as he should be!

The limited edition plasctic kit of Grombrindal "The White Dwarf" was released this summer to commemorate the 500 issue of White Dwarf Magazine from Games Workshop. The plucky White Dwarf has been produced in limited editions in the past, primarily in metal. I believe this is his first appearance in resin. The kit itself is a bit a bit fiddly to use the British slang. Mainly due to the fact that GW doesn't always produce the best instructions for their kits. Now I have assembled at least several hundred Space Marines and assorted vehicles over the past year, but this little kit was a pain mainly due to the questionable instructions as to where to place the rock base upon the figure stands. Do a very careful dry fit first to make sure the remaing parts fit around the rocky stone that Grombrindal stands on. Outside of that, the kit is nicely detailed and will reward painters with a detailed miniature to lavish their attentions on.
