I much prefer this unit to the part Starlink themselves sell, as their's is plastic and not metal. I've heard of them breaking. This one mounted solidly and has not loosened in thousands of miles of RV travel and wind. It's nice and tight to the antenna itself. As seen in the picture, I used it along with a steel flat (roof) mount and have had no problems. Roof mounting keeps it safe from thieves, out of sight, and connected all the time.
