And it can be connected to the Govee humidifier. **Q: why they stopped working one by one** A: The single AAA battery typically only last 4 months per the manual. Mine barely made it to 3 months and the battery level displayed in the app was not accurate. **Q: Do we need to purcahse the cloud service?** A: I've been using mine for over a month just about 24/7 in a grow tent. At the moment im not using any app (alexa). Im just plug n use. So long story short i would say no cloud necessary...lol **Q: What is the battery life? i installed 3 of these end of november and 2 of the 3 died end of december. not great for remote rental property.** A: The temperature sensor's battery life is about 4 months. Low temperature will shorten the battery life. We promise a 12-month warranty.
