Review: Absolutely great! - First off. Don't get the wifi-enabled one. Get this one instead. I rarely used the wifi functionality. Also, before using it make sure you calibrate it! Boveda makes a good hygrometer calibration kit. Any hygrometer you get can be wildly off. My last Govee hygrometer was reading 13% higher than it actually was. I didn't calibrate it before use and this led to bone dry cigars. Don't make my mistake. With that out of the way, this is a very capable hygrometer in a very tiny package. With the app, you can track temperature and humidity data over time, it can alert you when the temperature or humidity goes outside a range you specify, you can manually check the temp and humidity and you can do ALL of this without opening the cigar box it's in! Also, this takes one AAA battery. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of every smart device using obscure button cell batteries or oddly sized cylindrical batteries. This hygrometer is a breath of fresh air with how easy it is to use and how much functionality it offers.

**Q: Can this connect with smart humidifier on its own or does it need the wifi gateway?**
A: It can be used as a stand-alone Bluetooth humidity sensor. And it can be connected to the Govee humidifier.

**Q: why they stopped working one by one**
A: The single AAA battery typically only last 4 months per the manual. Mine barely made it to 3 months and the battery level displayed in the app was not accurate.

**Q: Do we need to purcahse the cloud service?**
A: I've been using mine for over a month just about 24/7 in a grow tent. At the moment im not using any app (alexa). Im just plug n use. So long story short i would say no cloud necessary...lol

**Q: What is the battery life?   i installed 3 of these end of november and 2 of the 3 died end of december.    not great for remote rental property.**
A: The temperature sensor's battery life is about 4 months. Low temperature will shorten the battery life. We promise a 12-month warranty. Need any help, feel free to contact us via Amazon message center.
