First off. Don't get the wifi-enabled one. Get this one instead. I rarely used the wifi functionality. Also, before using it make sure you calibrate it! Boveda makes a good hygrometer calibration kit. Any hygrometer you get can be wildly off. My last Govee hygrometer was reading 13% higher than it actually was. I didn't calibrate it before use and this led to bone dry cigars. Don't make my mistake. With that out of the way, this is a very capable hygrometer in a very tiny package. With the app, you can track temperature and humidity data over time, it can alert you when the temperature or humidity goes outside a range you specify, you can manually check the temp and humidity and you can do ALL of this without opening the cigar box it's in! Also, this takes one AAA battery. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of every smart device using obscure button cell batteries or oddly sized cylindrical batteries. This hygrometer is a breath of fresh air with how easy it is to use and how much functionality it offers.

I have been using these for years. They work great and are eay to calibrate. Battery life is good, typically I get 3-4 months out of a battery, which gets me through the low humidity winter months.

I bought the add-on pack without the WiFi module to expand my setup. I use them to monitor temperature and humidity in my leopard gecko enclosure and in other spots around the house, and they work great and seem accurate. Since these are the add-on sensors, they connect via Bluetooth (not WiFi, unless you have the WiFi module already, which I do), but they’re perfect if you already have the main unit or just want extra sensors. I’ve found a lot of uses for them—reptile enclosures, plant room, and anywhere you want to keep an eye on humidity/temps.
