I just measured the amount of gel I put into a mouth tray, being very careful to put an even bead of gel in the tray. One tray came out to just under .5 grams, That is a nice round number to start with, your application may be a bit more. That would mean that in order to do both upper and lower sets of teeth would take 1 gram of gel. There are 148 grams of gel in a bottle of gel (there may be more than that depending on the fill machine calibration at the time). That means that there are 148, or more, treatments per bottle of gel if you are doing both upper and lower teeth with each treatment. If you are using it along with your toothpaste instead of using the trays, there would be many more treatments depending on amount of gel that was applied. It works without pain! I have very sensitive teeth and weak enamel, the other name brand white strips always made my teeth and gums hurt. I have not had any sensitivity with this. I forgot to take a before a photo but when I compare my teeth now to older photos, they are noticeably whiter.
