I’ve tried the la Roche posay cica plast gel b5 as well, but this one by prequel I personally think is better. They are similar but I prefer this one. It’s also less shiny than LRP. It does kind of have a fruity smell (it’s fragrance free) which I like actually. It disappears after a few seconds on the skin though so no worries there. As a tip I recommend you try it around your eyes as an eye cream. It’s amazing. This is one my absolute favorite products!

While this didn’t work for me, I wish it did - the texture was really nice, it wasn’t overly thick but spread easily on my face. I could feel that it was moisturizing and great for winter.Unfortunately I have eczema on my face and it really flared bad after using this product. I don’t know that this is to blame but for my own wellness, I stopped using

So this wasn't exactly what i was expecting but that doesn't mean its not a nice product. Its quite a thick gel that i think is best for spot treating dry patches. I bought it thinking i would use in in place of a hydrating serum, which i can do, bit it's just a bit thick.

I have rosacea and it’s a constant battle keeping it at bay. Although I have oily skin I have treated patches on my face that get very dry. I was using a product to alleviate dryness that my dermatologist sells which was ridiculously pricey. I finished that product which was effective but genuinely felt I could find similar but less costly. This is it. It is not at all like Vaseline. It’s a less viscous substance and goes on like a facial primer. You only need a little for it to be effective. I use less than a pea size amount rub it between two fingers and dot more on the dry patches and the remaining on the rest of my face in the evening. My skin is so soft in the morning and feels hydrated and smooth. Even after I’ve washed my face it still feels soft. I don’t use it in the morning but noticed my foundation no longer highlights the nasty dry patches I used to have. Lately my rosacea is better controlled so for first time in a while I’m feeling less stressed about my complexion. It’s a good product, I even place a dot of moisturizer on my elbows and heels, it’s incredibly effective. Try it, your face and body will benefit.

Seems to work to seal in moisturizer. Not greasy.
