Worked fine for 2 weeks or so. But now it says "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge." And indeed the battery is no longer charging. What a waste of money!Update: The seller reached out to me right away after seeing my review, and offered to replace the item or issue a refund. I requested a refund since I had already ordered a replacement. My refund was issued within 24 hours. While I am still disappointed that the adapter stopped working, I am quite impressed by the responsiveness of the seller and willingness to stand behind their product. I am changing my rating to 4 stars.

My original factory Dell charger that came with my XPS 13 9360 stopped working and I needed a quick replacement, so I purchased this one. It worked well for about 6 months, and then my laptop started having problems unrelated to the battery. But ever since then, the charger only works about half the time. I have also found that the battery life of my laptop decreased significantly. It has now been around 8 months and the charger still has problems--sometimes I'll get the warning that says the charger isn't compatible, and other times my laptop will charge like normal after restarting, unplugging, and plugging. This is a cheap charger, so I guess I get what I paid for. Spend your money on a quality charger that will last more than a few months!!

This product is not UL listed! It is *Extremely important* that electronics are UL listed to ensure your safety! If you are in a bind and need a quick replacement charger for cheap until you get an official dell charger, this may be fine to use for a day or two. But do NOT take the risk of using this charger permanently! Like other reviewers noted, you can power your laptop while it’s connected to AC power, but it is hit or miss whether this product will actually “charge” your laptop battery. I had left this connected to my laptop for a few hours until I noticed a burning smell from the brick. I went to pick it up and it was SCORCHING hot. Never been so nervous in my life. Quickly disconnected and left outside to cool off. That’s when I noticed there was no UL label on the product! And at this price I can bet the materials inside are sub standard and likely fire prone. Represented as being compatible with the 7xxx series laptop.Turns out the 7xxx series uses a 65 watt charger. This one is only 45 watts. Not actually compatible. It might charge the laptop, but only when it's turned off.Not pleased.

It started off great having this charger because I was desperate for one since my old one stopped working out of nowhere. But now the same thing is happening to this charger. My computer will light up indicating that it's charging for about 5 seconds then shuts off. I thought it might not be working properly due to it being cold but i shut the windows and turned off the heat but it still doesn't want to charge.

I purchased this charger because my one year old dog chewed up my dell XPS 13 charger. At first I was scared that the charger wouldn't fit due to the fact that my laptop model number was not in the description of laptops that would fit this charger. I looked up the barrel size of my old charger and this charger and saw that it was the same, so I gave it a shot. The item arrived really fast with no problems whatsoever. I quickly inserted the charger to my XPS 13 9360 laptop and it worked!! I have been using it for 3 weeks and it still charges my laptop and I have not had any issues with it. I really do recommend this product if your laptop charger was chewed on by your pet or you just simply need a replacement. It really saved me a lot of money since the dell charger is sixty dollars in their website. You won't regret this purchase!!

Cheap made. It charges the laptop, and I guess that's all it is supposed to do. I'm afraid to leave it plugged in if I'm leaving the house though.

I tried this cord to replace one that was not working. It worked great out of the box! It has continued to work well and charge my PC very quickly. Very pleased.
