I started bringing home jars of another brand's dulce de leche from business trips to Argentina. My husband absolutely adores it and, since I don't travel anymore, I thought I would order him some for his birthday. This is an affordable alternative that is absolutely delicious. If you're used to the Argentinian style dulce de leche, this is very comparable (although from Spain).

To me, this sauce is all pro’s: has a lid for long term storage, glass jar (no BPA), larger than LaLechera brand can, has rich balanced caramel taste and a clean “finish”.For our area it has been difficult to find good milk caramel, especially in this volume, and the store selections, when finally in stock, are small and taste “off”. So I definitely recommend it not as a desperate replacement but a product of choice.

I love caramel and this Dulce de Leche is wonderful!!Unlike, and better than caramel, it is thick and creamy. Sweet but not too sweet. And the flavor is fantastic!So far I have only used it on fresh tart apple slices. I haven’t tried warming it yet so I don’t know how that might affect it, but I think it would be great over ice cream! Or over apple pie! Or just on a spoon!

I bought this caramel based on its rating. I am very happy with the flavor! However I am very disappointed because the product is expiring in couple weeks. My attention was not to use it now. My plan was to make some Moroccan cookies in a month or so and save the rest for later use. I tried replacing the item but it cant be returned or replaced. Bummer...

I used this to bake my husband a birthday cake with a dulce de leche filling. It was incredible! It is also amazing on ice cream. It has a consistency almost like peanut butter so if you are looking for a dulce de leche with a thicker consistency with great taste this is for you!

The product stresses no added sweeteners but THREE OF THE SWEETENERS included are SUGAR, GLUCOSE AND FRUCTOSE. Needless to say I'm very confused and it seems that I'm not alone.

I've always loved caramel so might as well try this and I like it. The taste is just right and it's not too sweet for my liking. The bottle has a lot of really good dulce de leche in it so thumbs up.

I bought this product based on the ingredients the product says and what a surprise when I found out didn't show the whole list of ingredients (especially the ones that are not recommended such as glucose and fructose within others) which I don't find this very honest. I'm very disappointed.On the pictures you will find the real ingredients and on top of the lid a sticker with the ingredients it supposed it has. I'm so mad.I'm giving one star only because it came on time and well packed not for nothing else.
