Good for scrubbing hard vegetables
I wanted a natural fiber brush for scrubbing vegetables like potatoes and carrots. You used to be able to pick up a tampico fiber brush at the grocery store but now they’re all synthetic bristles. The tampico brushes I found on Amazon were on the pricey side and had mixed reviews. I was unfamiliar with coconut fiber brushes but the price was ok. Btw this same brush is sold on AliExpress for about $2 cheaper but you have to wait for it to ship from China. I figured it was worth a couple bucks to have it in my hands in two days and be able to return it if I don’t like it.Anyway the brush works fine and it’s comfortable to hold. I thought I’d be able to fit carrots through the center but it’s too hard to push them through. The bristles are very densely packed and stiffer than tampico. Since I only use it for hard vegetables I’m not concerned about scratching but if you wet the brush thoroughly the bristles are slightly more pliable.I was concerned about mold and bacteria growing in the bristles but haven’t had that issue. I don’t use the brush daily. When I do I rinse thoroughly, shake out as much water as I can and hang to dry. It takes 18-24 hours for the bristles to dry completely in my semi humid climate. If you have more humid conditions or use it every day it’s possible you would have a mold problem with this. It’s important to wash the brush thoroughly before using. There’s a lot of brown dust in the bristles that you don’t want on your food or dishes.

Great
I like it very much, don't hurt the surface of the pot, clean it quickly, and have a good handle.
