Needs an on/off switch and a longer lead
This does what it says but needs a longer lead and a switch both of which I added to mine to make it more useable.

Great product does the job.
Great product works perfectly, simple to use, only complaint is that the leads were on the short side but overall great product.

good pump, very good value, but needed tweaking before it would work
I bought this pump for transferring diesel between 20 litre jerrycans and a vehicle fuel tank. There were two main problems when I tried to use it:Firstly, it took some fiddling and some time before it would develop any suction - feeding diesel into the inlet side with a syringe helped, and then all of a sudden it got going. NB when delivered there was water inside it, so it needed flushing out with plenty of diesel before use.Secondly, the outlet side hose fitting doesn't work as delivered. It consists of a little black plastic olive wedged into the end of a 10mm OD pvc tube, and a plastic screw cap that should hold this against the pump body - but the hole in the screw cap is too wide, so can't grip the bulged end of the tube, and when you tighten it the tube just falls off. To fix that I took a 16mm wide stainless M8 washer, carefully reamed out the hole in the middle till it was exactly 10mm diameter, and then slipped it over the PVC pipe before sliding the screw cap on. See photo (apologies for quality). That now gives a good firm connection. Also, the end of the tube did not seat well against the outlet point on the pump. I gently used a normal countersink bit by hand to bevel the black plastic face against which the pvc tube sits, and that was much better.Having done all that the pump worked fine and I am pleased with it.To drive it conveniently from the mains you can use one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07S5B82D8If you want to control the speed, this product works well, connected between the 12V supply and the pump (though if you make it too slow, below about setting 4, the pump just won't run): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076Q99K6D

Works as it should.
Good product works as it should. Power cables could do with being a bit longer. I used it to suck water out of my heating oil tank, I did need to extend the pipes. This had no impact on the pumps performance.
