Keepdrum MS106 RD Red Microphone Stand with Boom, Metal Base

As a professional drummer, I decided to treat myself to a practice pad stand, so that I can warm up in a back room before performing. I found this product from Keep Drum, and thought it looked good, even though the postage cost was expensive, I thought over all it works out about the same as other stands. I was expecting being made in Germany, a piece of high quality, well engineered stand fit for purpose. However, on arrival I was seriously disappointed. First, the bag it comes in is very cheap and nasty. The strap looks like it will give way after a few outings. However, this was not my main criticism. Once I mounted my practice pad on the stand bolt, it wobbled back and forth. So I thought, I just need to tighten the bolt a bit, maybe it was not put together properly. However, after tightening the bracket screw with a screw driver, and the top bolt with a wrench as tight as I could, it still wobbles. To make matters, worse you then can't collapse the stand again (because you need to tighten everything with a screw driver and wrench). I've written to the seller, and complained, but not heard back yet. I'm now looking at other products, as this one is clearly not fit for purpose.
