As it's name implies our 10% sulphur soap contains 10% Flowers of Sulphur BP (British Pharmacopoeia) in a pure triple milled vegetable soap base enriched with Vit E. The bar is hard and very long lasting with a good lather. Sulphur is a very effective germicide and fungicide and has been used for therapeutic purposes since Roman times. It is usually one of the main mineral components of hot spa water. Many people use sulphur soap to relieve the the symptoms of various skin complaints including acne, psoriasis, eczema and acne. The carbolic soap uses the highest pharameceutical grade of carbolic at a concentration of 1 part in three and is a traditional remedial soap for cleansing hands And body.

Very nice homemade soap
I don't know if its stated on the item page, but it seem to me the soaps are handmade, and they are also much larger than ordinary hard soap you buy in the store. I like the nice packaging they came in.For potential buyers, this is not a soap that will smell like roses or anything like that. It's made out of sulphur, and sulphur have a special smell that could be considered nasty for some. But you don't buy this soap for the smell, you buy it for its said healing effect on damaged skin. Remember, if you can't see or feel any difference on your skin after a couple of weeks usage, it's not the soaps fault, go see a dermatologist.For me personally, I would say this soap has worked. After a month my long lasting skin disorder starts to clear up. I don't know if it solely the soap, but I would guess the soap has helped me heal my skin. I will buy again.

Not Carbolic by European Union rules
When this and the farmers first came out it had a real distinctive old-fashioned carbolic smell. Now because of European union rules banning carbolic, it just smells a bit phenolic like TCP Christina May and or reseller needs to update the description to make it accurate and be honest with their customers. This used to get a 5* rating. Now they deserve to be heavily penalised

My favourite combo of Christina May soaps
I love Christina May's sulphur soap as it is the only thing that keeps my sebarrhoic dermatitis under control. The Carbolic soap has a distinctive smell to it like the sulphur soap but I have to tell you it is absolutely marvellous used as a bathroom soap and smells quite pleasant. It is very gentle on the skin and in fact my skin was soft and moistened. I will be definitely buying this combo again. Previously tried pine and charcoal but sulphur and carbolic is the best combo.

I'll keep coming back
These soaps are great. They foam up wonderfully, and they last for quite a while.You might need to get used to the smell of the sulphur soap, but hey, that's what you pay for!

I love carbolic soap its so clean and makes you feel fresh and washed, the sulfer soap has been good for my boy friends psoriasis.
