The Saddlery Shop Equi7 Horse Fly and Insect Repellent Collar-As Supplied One Size

Bought this for our little homebred mare who doesn’t enjoy flies when turned out, in the hope that it would keep her fly-free - but as you can see from the photo, the flies continued to swarm around her head and face, even after it had been on for 4-6 hours. Not impressed; wouldn’t buy again.

This is such a great product, whilst it has been on I havent had to put any fly repellant on the ponys face, and it has not even nearly fallen off him. I wish they would make a bigger one to go around horses groins where the flys bite so badly around the sheath area, any manufacturers reading this. I will be spraying this in a fly repellant and reusing it when it is finished, just love it

Pony has VERY bad sweet itch-rugged/masked EVERYTHING! Due to wound was unable to wear mask, so tried the collar. Very impressed, hardly had any bites/rub wounds on here face & it's been a few weeks now! Not sure if it would protect whole body-but made a big difference & will buy more!Only down-side is I don't think the studs are good enough-pony managed to break them v quickly!

Well it’s been on a week and is showing no signs of coming off so I’m not sure what all the reviews were about them falling off. I have mine on a youngster who’s always up to no good and it’s still there. Does smell very strong so when riding be prepared for a face full of chemicals but it is worth it.....massive reduction in head shaking. Thanks

This was okay. Didn't work as well as expected as I still had to use additional fly spray.Although this may be because of the exceptional summer we have had.I may purchase another for next year and see how that works.

The collar is easy to fit BUT the fastenings are not sturdy enough. After 2 days my very calm quiet geriatric horse came in with one of the fastenings broken. There are no spares provided & no information as to whether spares can be purchased. :(

Very good insect repellent it's a shame I can't keep it on the horse the clips won't keep the Coller on they won't clip in really hard to get it out of the packaging.
