So disappointed. One of reviews mentioned that this bags pass stretch test . I really trashed the review but sadly after ordering and testing it - stretch test failed . If you pinch it it’s doesn’t change color but stretching it turns white easily.I purchased Platinum Pure bags at the same time and they did pass stretch test .

When I bought these bags to use with my sous vide I thought I was taking a risk. I wasn’t sure that I would be able to easily submerge them in the sous-vide bath. Turns out they are a breeze. When I used my plastic bags, even after I had pumped all the air out, I always had to weight them down in the bath. Otherwise they would float. With these silicone bags, the air is forced out as you submerge the bag in the bath, forming a natural vacuum and the bag sinks right to the bottom. Then you drape the side of the bag over the bath. It couldn’t be easier and I’m happy to be able to get rid of the plastic. They are also much easier to clean than ziplock bags.

Had very high hopes for these. However they had a strong chemical smell straight out of the packaging, and no matter how I washed them the smell persisted. Also, you'd never know whether you washed them enough - they still felt "greasy". Anyway, couldn't bring myself to using them even once. Washed them , and washed them again... and returned. Alas.

I’ve has a few silicon sous vide bags and this was the only one that could really do the water displacement method. Get these.

I would and did order another set of these as they are perfect for the sous vide cooking! We thought at first since these bags don’t formally seal that it could be a problem when cooking, but in fact, it has NOT been an issue at all. Also, they have no smell at all which is another great help when cooking because other silicone products that I’ve looked at have smelled. Washing is a little bit challenging since they are so flexible, but they they do wash out great in the end. Everything that we have made in them also cooks exactly as the recipe says which is a great help too! You won’t be disappointed!

What the hell!!! IT DOES NOT SEAL! It comes with a silicon zip tie. Dumb, how do you keep the water out? I can’t use in the freezer.msending it back!

I used this for a 24 hour sous vide and it was too long for the material. I cleaned the bag multiple times after but it still smells of the meat and has a brown tinge to the inside. I'll keep it and use it for similar SV recipes in the future but it won't be interchangeable with non red meat dishes unfortunately.

Stains easily & still smelly after many washes. Cannot be sealed, so can’t be used with a lid on the spud vide container
