What I really like about silicone bags is that they take me one step closer to not needing plastic bags. The closing piece that seals the bag is much easier to put on and remove than the silicone bags I purchased previously. The only disadvantage is the cost, which I think will not be appealing to many buyers and will not encourage switching from plastic to silicone. The large bag is not as large as a gallon plastic bag, so I cannot give up plastic storage bags entirely, yet.

Heads up! As we all learn things as we order online, I keep making mistakes. This is 50 DRY oz, not FLUID. HUGE DIFFERENCE! I find it interesting that they would use dry weight vs wet in a bag, but there it is.But, I do love silicon bags. I have cut my plastic bag use by 80% and bragged to many that they can too! They are hard to use the first few times but loosen up with use, but remain airtight. Do your part for Mother Earth!
