    Johnny Flynn has done it again with this, his 4th album, its fantastic. A denser affair than before with more instruments, vocal harmonies and more complex arrangements, its closer to the style to his first album than recent outings. It's good hes using The Sussex Wit again. The songwriting is as strong as ever and he seems to have given this a lot of time. I've enjoyed it more with each listen, always a good sign. No real standout tracks, it's great throughout although the first 3 tracks give the album a great start. If you are a fan or someone looking for something a little different buy this, Johnny Flynn is a unique talent and you won't be disappointed.

    Really thoughtful songs, great lyrics, melodies and harmonies give plenty to keep you engaged after many listenings (and I mean MANY!). Imaginative arrangements and instrumentation. Nicely produced as well. Would love to have had a lyrics booklet in there.

    Seriously, the best "new" album I've heard for many years. as someone still stuck in the seventies this was a revelation, and I will buy his others. Very original tunes, lyrics, arrangements, instruments. A real treat. Played it over and over.
