The Apps Bloodworm fly is the spandex favorite, the bloodworm is actually an imitation of the larval state of the fly and bloodworm do spend most of their time on the bottom of the water, this is when trout will feed off the apps bloodworm. When they are disturbed bloodworm move their bodies from side to side and attract the trout into feeding off them. The apps bloodworm will be effective when the fish are feeding on the bottom usually when the water is cold.
