Scent strength is medium to light - perfect for sensitive skin. Instructions: Wet face. Wet shaving brush and squeeze out excess moisture. Swirl brush on soap for 15 seconds. Move brush to wet face and work into shaving area with circular motions for 15 seconds adding water if the lather becomes pasty, then use straight back and forth paining motions for an additional 10 seconds. Decent Lather, Useless Scent
I'm so disappointed with the scent. Lavender? Tobacco? Lemon? I guess there is a possibility that I got a defective product, but if not, I must say I don’t pick up any of those scents. At best this soap has a play dough or wet cardboard smell. The lather is actually very good especially for the price, and I’d give it two more stars if it claimed to be an unscented soap, but since it claims to have a scent, I am grading it with that in mind. I basically feel deceived after reading the label and ordering it for the scent advertised. I'm tempted to return it but not sure worth the hassle. I love the Chiseled Face soap, Sherlock, I got from the same manufacturer, but based on this purchase, I will not be buying Stubble Buster products in the future.

Leathers ok, that's about it.
Lather is average, scent could be more defined. Can't tell what this wants to smell like.
