I had previously used a plastic covered synthetic line, read plump. The new line is more like rotary dryer line but with a metal core. Much thinner. The pegs grip it anyway. I always use them on duvet covers or other items that will catch the wind. Not been let down yet **Q: What does each peg weigh in grams? If you can, please weigh 10 pegs to be more accurate (this is for backpacking, so weight important!)** A: 10 pegs weigh 29g. I love these pegs they hold everything on the line without the washing moving.
