WaspBane is the only wasp trap scientifically proven to reduce risk. WaspBane is the wasp trap that you set and forget! Clean, easy to use lasts all season long with no refill necessary. Two part wasp trap that is safe, secure and effective at reducing wasp numbers.Unique venturi effective transmits lure, attracts and retains hunting wasps. Supplied pre-baited simply add a mixture of lager beer and honey to activate. The WaspBane wasp trap bait system is pesticide, toxin and pheronomone free which means that the trap is safe for domestic use and disposal. The WaspBane wasp trap is a sophisticated scientifically engineered trap which means that not all baits will work with the trap. The WaspBane wasp trap requires that a suitable liquid be added to attract waps to the trap.Examples of suitable liquids are listed below. Not all liquids will work in the trap. So for example, artificially flavoured and or artificially sweetened drinks such as colas, squashes and lemonades will not work. The reason for this is that the flavours and sugars are caught in the water part of the trap. The trap is designed to release aromas but also to capture evaporating water through condensation to stop the trap drying out. Highly acidic liquids such as concentrated orange juice, pineapple juice, colas and well as vinegar stops the bait system from working. Peppermint oil or cordial should not be used because this kills the bait system.

Amazing product!!
My honey bees where being pestered badly by wasps and after putting this up above one of my three hives it has killed at least 20I poured Budweiser in mine up to the level with the activator… the wasps cannot resist Budweiser… wooooIt’s sleek design makes it not the worse to look at…Best of all the honeybees have not gone in for a wee look meaning it’s only been one moth and the rest waspsI’d say it’s a lot of money but if your clever you can unscrew and pour away the old and next year add in more Budweiser next year meaning no need to buy a re fill @ £24.00Hardy and had my first one three years just bought my second one and they are a big hit highly recommend to anyone considering buying one…

Not strong enough - only lasts one season
I had a bad wasp problem near my bee hives and tried various wasp traps - homemade and bought. Wasp Bane is ridiculously expensive compared with others but I thought I would try it anyway to see if it was any better. When it arrived, I was shocked to find how large it was (about half a metre tall)!!! I put it together and tried it. Results promising, but no better than home made trap using an old squash bottle. Both caught loads of wasps and large flies. At the end of the season, the plastic of the base cracked making it unusable. Conclusion: It works but is far too expensive to bother to buy.

I found the Waspbane to be a waste of money and wish I had used the money ...
We have got a wasps nest in our shed and there are lots of wasps coming and going. The Waspbane has been in use for a few weeks now in our garden and to date has caught 6 wasps, several flies and a couple of moths. We've tried moving the Waspbane around the garden and have used different baits - lager, cider, honey, banana but the wasps fly straight past it. I obviously didn't expect the Waspbane to deal with nest but I thought it would attract and capture more wasps. I found the Waspbane to be a waste of money and wish I had used the money instead to get the pest control people out earlier.

It works
It worked. It’s not pretty. In the end I opted to use paper bags pretending to be nests and that just kept the wasps away.

If you hate wasps you need these
They do exactly what they say on the tin. Used them for years. Expensive, but a great product.

Wasps ..be very scared!
I saw this working really well at a National Trust cafe recently. I've not used mine yet as I'm waiting till the wasps start up in the orchard later in the summer, but the product looks very sturdy and up for the challenge! The packaging it was posted in was not very good.
