Awesome product! I recently needed this to walk around a ballroom throughout a live auction and the connection was beautiful! It does need NP series batteries. I had one from a previous camera so i was fine. The battery does not charge on either device if you plug them in with usb c cable. It worked right out of the box. Awesome product.

So easy to use and works very well! No latency issues, etc. Our organizaiton has bought at least 3 more of these sets -- they are great!

Great product, build and visual quality is unmatched for the price. Just be advised of the slight latency as well as the fact that batteries don’t come with it, and apparently there needs to be a difference in elevation for it to work. Other than these it’s plug and play.

I was wondering if I could use this for my DJ business, streaming out from a computer to a TV. Not the original intention of the product, but after speaking to the pros at Hollyland they said yes it would work. I can say I used it last night and it worked flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase. I forget if it was listed but the batteries are separate buy. Yes I would recommend it I even bought a 2nd receiver, so I can say 1 transmitter can transmit to 2 receivers. with no issues. and my set up was in a busy downtown area with nots a radio, cell, waves.

(Under the right circumstances) It's a fantastic transmitter and receiver set. I use this to save time spent otherwise running SDI cable to get video from point A to point B. The latency is wonderful. I used this system to set up a countdown timer for an event and there was no delay in the timer, even when the signal was being sent to two sources. It's convenient and easy to use. One feature I would like Hollyland to add for future TX / RX is the ability to switch resolutions, from 1080p to 4K. What it actually does is auto select based on the input, which I had to learn through vague documentation and almost helpful online forums. Definitely rent this before buying - it will not transmit through concrete and may need to be above eye level to transmit properly, so make sure that you know the limits of the system and your building, and don't assume that this system will be the right one for your setup. I also can't quite describe it, but there is a noticeable bit of pixelation flicker on the receiver, like the receiver is struggling to sustain its resolution. It's a slight distraction if you look closely enough. Granted, this system is advertised as a way of getting a preview signal to multiple screens, which is what it does. I am reluctant to say, though, that this system is truly up to par for getting a signal to multiple sources for a programming feed or for a recording. So, I would more likely use this system for camera previews, graphics, lyrics, and animations, but less likely to use this system for camera recordings being fed into a video switcher, a large TV, or a projector.

These work great. I had a set of the Sony batteries that power the units for over an hour. Transmitting at 4k to a system that operates at HD works well. I'm using them with BMPC 4k cameras and the BM ATEM web camera switcher setup. I also tested the pass-through connection and it worked well with the ATEM. I could switch between the camera view and the presenters

Such a big brand and expensive but quality is horrible and this is supposed to be brand new. Used these for a paid event and this ruined the entire live stream we had. Colors was off and just coming up negative in every different camera, HDMI, and switched we had. I reset the setting and the camera and had the same effect nothing different at all. Front of the building wasn’t even 25feet away and still was distorted with the image and would glitch out. I expect more but I’m very disappointed with this and so is my client.

This product is outstanding and color me impressed. I use it to transmit 1080p /4k across a 5-6 meter space to a ceiling mounted projector from the AV receiver. Setup for the devices is straight forward, but you will need to adjust the channel used for transmission as channels 1 and 2 are usually rather crowded (I use channel 3). There is no detectable lag as I pass everything including the audio from the laptop to the AV receiver. Also, you can run the receiver from a USB power output on the projector (most modern projectors that have an input for a streaming device). I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to setup a home theater system.

Distance was way under advertised, I needed a 1020-150 ft distance covered and it was unable to sync as advertised. I am going to keep it as can use it for other situations but no success for the task it was bought for.
