I bought a Unicorn size medium for my 20lb shih tzu. It fit him just right. I wound up buying other animal characters in size small for other family dogs ranging in weight from 10-14 lbs. All shih tzus. I know it is based on head size, just wanted to give my experience. The small would have been too small for my dog. ( I tried the others on him, no go)This was a very nice quality and clearly well-made. I loved it. My dog, was less than enthused. he wanted to play with it. I think he thought it was a stuffed toy, and didn't understand why I was putting it on his head. I was able to get pictures of him, though and he was precious. I bought it rather close to halloween, and I think that if I had gotten it sooner I would have been able to get him used to wearing it after a few tries. Really nice item. I tried to upload a pic but it wound up upside down for some reason. Will try again.

I love this! I bought my dog a medium and it fits her head perfectly. My dog looks super cute in it and it protects her floppy ears from the cold!

I have a big dog and bought a medium which fits perfectly. She is a 72 lb shepherd mix, and her head and neck are average. If your pup has a wider head and neck go for large. You don't want it too loose. Med fits our pit bull too.

The size suggestion was spot on; the dog it needs to fit is a Cocker Spaniel, which was listed as a medium, so that's the size I bought. This is a gift but I snuck it on her quickly to check the fit and it fits beautifully. My sister (to whom the dog belongs) is always lamenting about the long ears dragging through the snow and was looking for a way to keep them clean and dry. Not what she was looking for, exactly--she was looking more for a water resistant/proof hat with ear flaps--but this should be a nice alternative to something neither of us can find. And it's freakin' cute!

I am stuck at home after a hip replacement. I wanted an easy to put on and cute Halloween costume for my dog, Puca. He's FABULOUS so there was no other choice but to get him a Zoo Snood Unicorn hat! He didn't mind it and it was easy to put on and take off and as you can see, he looks adorable in it!

I really love it and its soft that it doesn't bother my dog. He likes it. I got a bigger size for my Pittie cause he doesn't like tight things around his body. With the stretch of it, I could have opted for smaller.

Love this little snood. It’s one of the few items my dog is willing to wear...seems to keep us ears warm and it’s super cute.

I bought this for some random person online who really wanted it for their dog. I’ve since seen a ton of pictures with the dog wearing it so I’ll assume it was money well spent.
