These are the best and safe when little hands are trying to help you open boxes up. Don’t hesitate on buying these. They are so affordable we have them around our house everywhere. While they are extremely sharp, they won’t cut you. I’ve had a couple of them for 5 years or so and they would still be cutting boxes if I could find where they ran off to. One of the best gadgets in our home!

The design of this Small box cutter is super good. It’s small and it weighs like nothing. The versatility of this item also works pretty well. I tried it on my Amazon package and it opened it perfectly and it’s so smooth to cut with the durability is also very good. Try another things that not break the color is perfect. I like the color, the material is Very good. It’s a nice soft plastic and the blade is super sharp for such a small blade, but it doesn’t cut you. I tried it does not cut skin. I would definitely buy another one for my family it’s also cheap. Would highly recommend this item.

I work at an animal retail store and can contend this is probably one of the most useful items I’ve bought for myself! It can cut open any box/pallet wrapping/etc. My first Slice was an orange one that lasted me almost 8 months before the blade completely came out. So worth it though because of the use I’ve gotten from it and how often I have to use it constantly. I use a retractable key set and can just reach and use the slice whenever since it has a place for your key ring. I was patiently waiting to buy a cuter color so now I have Fuchsia 🥰.

This cutter works well for flat items, such as opening box tape, cutting coupons, or slicing through a bag placed on a stable surface. However, results can be inconsistent when cutting items that aren’t completely flat, like a produce bag held in one hand, since the cutting edge of the small ceramic blade may shift away from the intended spot with any movement. The blade retains its sharpness far longer than a traditional metal utility blade while remaining finger-safe. (However, it -can- chip if dropped onto a hard surface at just the right angle, making the small blade even smaller.) Can be easily attached to any magnetic surface such as a fridge or metal filing cabinet for convenient storage. (Or there's also a key ring hole, but don't know if I'd want a mini ceramic blade in my pocket, that while finger/skin-safe, may accidently cut though fabric fibers given the chance.)

I bought this 2-pack to stop using my car keys or a full-sized utility knife just to open Amazon packages. I keep one on my keychain and stuck the other to the side of my fridge (the internal magnet is a genius feature). The Ceramic Blade: The blade is tiny and protrudes only a fraction of an inch. • Safety: You can literally run your finger over the edge, and it won’t cut you. It requires the friction/resistance of material (like cardboard or tape) to slice. If you have kids in the house, this is the only box opener you should leave in a drawer. • Performance: It glides through packing tape and arguably the worst packaging on earth: rigid plastic clamshells. It cuts through that hard plastic without slipping, which is usually where accidents happen with standard knives. Durability: I was skeptical about "ceramic," thinking it would chip, but it holds up. I’ve used it on corrugated cardboard boxes, and it hasn't dulled yet. The Limitation (What you need to know): This is a slicer, not a saw. Because the blade is so short, it is designed to cut tape and single-layer cardboard. If you are trying to break down thick, double-walled wardrobe boxes, this isn't the tool. You’ll need a proper box cutter for that. This is for opening, not demolition. Verdict: A brilliant piece of design. It’s safer than a razor, faster than scissors, and the magnet means I never lose it.

Besides my regular Amazon boxes showing up every other day, I get a lot of shipments for work and these are attached to my keys and it’s in my junk drawer in the kitchen. Perfect for cutting ANYTHING without ever hurting myself. Blade has been going strong since I got them. Perfect on my keys so super easy to carry around.

I like the concept. I dislike the fact that little tiny blade got even smaller the first time I used it. The blade moved up into the mechanism each time I cut something. Also, little bit of the blade crumbled off right away. I can now barely see the blade and it will hardly cut the labels off the Amazon paper bags. The blade is now pretty much flush with the part where it is attached. The labels on plastic shipping bags now need help with scissors with this little contraption. The fuel to return it would be the same cost as the trip to return it. Soooooo…. I will use it on what it will work on and then I will trash it—and that won’t be long. Even though the blade is almost not visible, it still cuts a few things if a lot of pressure is applied. It’s like a car running out of gas and you have to eeek out every drop to get to a gas station. I do not like giving bad reviews. I wish I could have give this item a full five stars. I do like the concept of safety and some others advantages. If it just would have kept its blade!! I take labels with my address off packages so that can shred the labels. I won’t ever order this product again because it only cut two or three labels off from three bags when the blade moved up into the mechanism. It also had a little tiny piece of the blade crumble off right at the beginning of using it. It was disappointing, but not the end of the world. I did find something that works without having to use scissors. I would have liked this idea better it had worked. I’m glad it worked well for those who had a good experience. UPDATE:: Well, last night I was looking something to cut a precise parchment liner for my one piece stainless steel angel food tube cake pans. Whatta ya know!! Found this little contraption in my drawer of kitchen tool. Glad I didn’t throw it away. It worked like a charm even though the little tiny sliver of the blade was visible. I made a form for tracing the shape I need for lining the pans. Put a padding of paper towel under the parchment and just ran this little tool over it. Worked better than anything else i have tried for lining parchment for cake pans. I have changed my opinion. It’s a keeper! Going to order a couple more. I might not use it for anything else, but what it does on cutting parchment makes it well worth it. I’m giving it 5 stars instead of the one star on my original review.

This is fine for plastic or paper, but not strong enough for a box. It is very small, lightweight

I've been buying these for myself and all my family and friends for a few years now. They're brilliant little gadgets, far superior to scissors for opening just about anything and much safer than a knife. It's impossible to cut yourself with it. It's magnetic so it's always to hand - just pop it on the fridge or extractor hood. Wouldn't be without one - they do go blunt after a few years but they're cheap to replace.

Taglia veramente bene scotch, carta e cartone, ovviamente la lama è minuscola quindi va impugnato correttamente. Quasi magico il fatto che non può tagliare la pelle (in generale le cose morbide)

Small but useful.

I really like this product. How I wish I should have bought it sooner. I usually use it with my cold laminating sheets. Some laminating sheet the back paper doesnt have a cut or not sliced. Now I can use this to cut a portion of my cold laminating films backing. To make it easier for me to position the cold laminating sheet on a photo or paper i wanna cover. I dont have to unstick the sticker on the corner side it was a little hassle for me. It saves me time and less hassle. I can also use this for unboxing when slicing package tape. Or cuting some thin paper. Easy to carry. Its very useful.

I usually struggle with the packaging on mail these days, and this item provides a safe, neat, and functional solution to this problem. Price and speed of despatch were fine.The small blade that protrudes from the tool body does the job piercing the card body.
