Transitioning photochromic sunglasses are the only thing I wear. These are an excellent set of glasses and nonpolarized so without ultraviolet light they get almost completely clear. It is easy to tell just how much ultraviolet light is around you by how dark they get. Excellent glasses at an unbelievable price. Would absolutely buy again

I'm impressed! Not with the frames, but the lenses. I paid several times this much for photochromic glasses from an online prescription glasses vendor. I got non-prescription lenses and they are defective enough that I can't see well with them, wavy vision. The frames are nicer but the darkening was never anywhere near as good as it is with these Tantinos. These are even some darker in the car, which isn't supposed to happen except with the very expensive types. Love them! Would like to see these same lenses in different frame types.

These glasses are pretty good. It takes quite a bit of sunlight to get them to transition, but it is not terrible. The upper bar above the nose has a decorative plastic piece that seems a bit too big. They will be well used as driving glasses.

From a technical sense, these glasses didn't work at all. I held them up while the sun was bright and there was no change in the tint of the glass. Other reviews had positive things to say, so, it might simply be a problem with the particular pair I received; I can't be sure.From a subjective point of view, the glasses did not look good on my face. But that's just my opinion.

It took 2 or 3 times of putting these into the freezer overnight before the photo sensitive started to work properly and the glasses darken.Well made glasses,

These fit a little tight on my big fat head out of the box. Easy to shape though and are now comfortable. Big lenses with lots of glass to stick on my cheater lenses on the bottom. The auto darkening works well for all around use.

These make great Walter White/Breaking Bad glasses for Halloween. They're a perfect rectangular aviator shape. I modified mine to remove the two metal pieces on the bridge (with wire cutters and a metal file to smooth the edges). See pic for details. The first pair I received had a broken lens but Amazon sent a replacement quickly so it all worked out. They can darken a bit in a bright room (I guess this is what they're designed for) but this doesn't hurt the overall look.

As a reluctant sunglasses wearer I find these the ideal option. they allow your eyes to adapt to prevailing sun conditions and absorb the required amount of Vit D from sunlight before providing gentle adequate protection from glare. However the first pair I purchased has a teardrop shaped frame and the lenses kept falling out. This frame shape works better.
