This whale toy is made from natural maple wood and is about 5 inches long, 1-1/4 inches tall, and about 3/4 inches thick. This little whale balances on its fin and looks as those it's gliding through the clear ocean water. As with all our toys, we've sanded the wood and all the edges edges of this toy smooth so it will be delicate in the hands of your little one. This whale is intended for children over 3. It's not a teether, but is safe if toddlers take a taste test. This toy is finished with a natural and non-toxic beeswax polish we make ourselves and leaves this wood toy with a silky smooth finish.
