The Potting Shed Murder: Hill House Vintage Murder Mystery Book 1

Reads like a classic Agatha Christie. Paula Sutton is phenomenal!

I was so enthralled with Ms. Sutton's 'The Potting Shed Murder'. I came across it after finding her Hill House Vintage vlog, and I had to wonder that kind of book could a vintage style icon possibly write about 'murder'. Well, I was in for a treat. It was a absolute delightful read, which has a very helpful description of her characters at the beginning of the book.. More writers should do this... If you're anything like me, you don't finish a book in a few hours so I was grateful to be able to look back quickly to re familiarize myself with the characters when I happened to forget who was who.

I raced through this cosy crime marvel – it really is unputdownable, especially when accompanied by a cuppa tea!!! I adored being transported to the winding lanes of Norfolk and the eclectic cast of characters in Pudding Corner. And I also loved Daphne herself, my new favourite amateur sleuth, who unravelled a truly puzzling but addictive crime. Can't wait for more of Daphne and more of Pudding Corner!!
