Elizabeth Davies is an artist now in her 80th year and influenced by the classic British illustrators Beatrix Potter and Kate Greenaway. Her portfolio contains hundreds of finely detailed studies. They cover life like British countryside animals and stunning floral. She has also produced ranges of 'characters' including children, flower fairies and anthropomorphic works. Whilst having no formal training Elizabeth started painting as an eight year old and it was her intimate interest in the countryside of her youth that has encouraged her to produce this quite extraordinary collection. This is the first time these works have been made generally available for reproduction on commercial products.
