Love the colour and the style and it's loud enough to wake you from another room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. What can I say? I'm a heavy sleeper...

update: after less than two months the clock no longer rings as loud; the hammer no longer hits hard enough.I thought it was because of the battery, but after I changed it with a new one it's still the same.Shouldn't have judged a book by its cover. The clock's very pretty, but now it's pretty...useless.Final update: the alarm bell stopped altogether. I am not the kind of person that enjoys giving bad reviews, but this clock is now effectively useless. Had I not had a backup alarm on my phone, I would have not gotten up for work (early morning shifts). This has been happening now for 4 days in a row.I hate keeping things just for decorum, so it's going to a charity shop, and now I'm on the hunt for a new alarm clock.

The world's most brilliant alarm clock. It wakes myself, my family, and probably my neighbours too. Despite looking all cute and inauspicious, this clock welcomes 6am with the raining wrath of a hundred-thousand church bells. Personally, I couldn't have asked for more, though now I can't use the excuse of oversleeping when I'm late to work. 5/5

Looks nice, however I warn you that it’is not a silent clock at all. Sure, you can’t hear the tick-tock of second hand but instead you hear a very fast paced ticking from inside the clock. Very annoying! Drives me insane when trying to sleep. Because of this I am considering throwing it in the bin. If you don’t keep it by your bedside, it might be okay.Positive = The alarm ring is certainly loud enough to wake you up,Positive/negative = There isn’t a snooze button. (Can be a negative or positive, depends which way you see it.)

Overpriced for the actual quality. Bit disappointed, very tinny .

Beautiful lovely clock but I wouldn't call it silent. Unfortunately instead of proper traditional ticking it makes what to me is a much more unpleasant, constant digital buzz sort of noise. You can get used to it, but if you have sensitive ears like me, don't expect 'silent sweep'.

Such a cute clock. It matches our shabby chic decor perfectly. It is quite loud and jarring when it goes off - but it does exactly what it is supposed to do and gets me out of bed.

Very nice table clock. It is large and easy to read. The build quality is good (metal -not plastic) and the finishing looks nice. It is also remarkably accurate. Overall very good value for money.
