Mister O
The first book I read of Lauren’s was Big Rock which comes before Mister O. Mister O features Big Rock main character Spencer’s sister and his best friend Nick.Nick is the geeky version of Spencer but other than his love of comics, Harry Potter and his glasses they are very similar. He loves women and makes no attempt to hide the fact. When Spencer’s sister Harper asks him for relationship advice all of Nick’s Christmases have come at once.As Nick and Harper have friends for a long time they have a natural chemistry and it is easy to see that they would make a great couple, even though Nick is reluctant because of his friendship with Spencer. Together they are explosive and Nick loves to please Harper and to explore her sexuality with her. The story is told entirely from Nick’s POV, just as Big Rock was told entirely from Spencer’s POV which sets these stories apart from anything else at the minute. I love the male POV because it feels like a sneaky peek when you’re reading it and Lauren gives Nick a believable voice in the story.I think you can guess from pretty early on what’s going to happen with the characters and although I kept waiting for the inevitable conversation Nick was going to have with Spencer I was pleasantly surprised how the story panned out. This is a classic friends to lovers storyline which is one of my favourites to read. If you’re looking for more books with this storyline I can recommend Samantha Young’s Before Jamaica Lane and Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Player.

A character pairing made in heaven! Rom com heaven.
Nick & Harper from the minute I 'met' them, I knew and HAD to have them in a book! SOOOOO freaking excited they are getting one!!! Sooooooo freaking excited, thank You Lauren!Mister o, what can I say about this apart from. Lauren smashed the romantic comedy again! Her personality shines through in her writing, her characters and it is evident in this book in spades. I was chuckling straightaway and although we only met harper and nick briefly in big rock, you feel like you have know her characters for ages, as soon as you start reading, you are involved. Nick makes you feel welcome, He is dirty witty, friendly, charming, good looking and confident and sofreaking sexy. This is a pairing that is cute and sexy, filthy and sweet, and playful and passionate. Harper is one thing on her own but together with nick, you have a red hot heat that he brings out. I was laughing in the right way during some of their intimate moments. I am so so glad lauren listen to her readers and gave us this pairing as they were literally made for each other.I loved big rock, it was just as this is Lauren's witty writing with her brilliant characters, but nick, he is something else. He is one of those characters I would wish to life or the big screen. He is so very well rounded and full of life. Harper is like a superhero, one thing in the daytime and a bit of a firecracker with her trusty sidekick by her side.Plenty of new and some old characters were introduced, and all of them caught my fancy!

Three cheers for Lauren Blakely
OMG that book was AH-MAZ-ING i was getting so frustrated yelling at my kindle "you love her, you dummy, just tell her" i have to say 'Os' aside nick hammer sounded hot as hell eith a heart to match! Thats why i love Lauren Blakelys books she pulls you right in there beside her characters i was so worried what spencer was gonna do but in the end im glad he turned out to be reasonable. I cant wait to read well hung beside wyatt seems to be very perceptive and sweet although reading the excerpt at the end im not do sure! Anyway ive decided that nick and harper go on to have four beautiful children and he loves her body even more when shes pregnant and they live happily ever after eating cake until they are old and wrinkly! I know thats not how it ends but as i mentioned i was pulled in it was like i was invisible standing next to them watching it all unfold. I also loved that it was told from his prospective so many books leave you wondering what the guy is thinking. Im babbling i know but this is how i get after a good read. I feel slightly bereft, now that nicks gone off with harper i'll have to find a new book boyfriend x id recommend this book to everyone, ive already got half my family and friends reading it! So long Nick x Thank you Lauren for another great read x

5 Nick and Harper Stars
I love the male pov books that Lauren Blakely writes. Nick is adorable. This is a friends to lovers romance. In Big Rock we met Spencer and Charlotte. This book concentrates on Nick, Spencer's best friend and Harper, Spencer's little sister. She's been off limits but suddenly tables are turned, the heat is ramping up, clothes are dropping off and magic, quite literally, is happening. Harper needs to learn a trick or two about Men, dating and sex. Who better to teach her than Nick?. Harper isn't his type anyway because he has always gone for older women. She's three years younger. She's off limits. But pretty soon they are equally smitten and the fun really begins. These two are gorgeous together. Both passionate, loyal and funny. No triggers here - just lots of sexy fun. Really lovely read with low angst and hugely likeable characters.

Written from a different perspective
The title says it all. Couldn't put this down, as it came from the mind set of a man instead of a woman. Very different type of reading, and highly recommended, but only to my friends who can tolerate the "F" word.Initially, I had a problem with the slang, but the dictionary helped, and eventually the meanings became obvious.Would have liked a sequel with them married, their dog, Serena's baby, how his new job pans out and Harper producing a baby out of thin air. Thanks for a great read, it helped me recover from my hand surgery

Not for me
I like to read romances from the male perspective but I wasn't keen on his smug voice, especially as he was not an alpha male. I did like the different jobs, a cartoonist and a magician that was original, but not much was made of it. I found I could easily put this down and unlike other books I didn't find myself wondering what was going to happen next. This author is new to me and this sort of put me off buying more, which is a shame. Maybe I just chose the wrong one.
