Wilee Bike 700C Full Carbon Fiber Bottle Cage Carbon Water Bottle Holder for Road Bike UD

I bought this cage 2 years ago for my Lapierre MTB. I was looking for something clean, that matched the carbon of my bike, and wasn't rediculously priced, and this one fit the bill. I ended up buying both the A Matte, and the B Matte, however the A Matte didn't fit right in the frame of my bike (not a fault of the bottle cage designers, but the bike frame designers). The B Matte fit perfectly. Both hold water bottles snugly, however over the weekend I was out on a ride, and noticed that it appears that the carbon is splitting apart from itself (but still holds the water bottle just fine). I'm about to order another one, even if it is twice the price I paid 2 years ago.

Very light and sturdy. Have used about 1000 mostly smooth road miles on road bike. To get bottles to fully drop to bottom and lightly snap in cage the bottle needs to be nudged down into place and not just dropped into cage. If this is not done the bottle can bounce out on a sharp bump in the the road, which happened twice and one time a bottle was lost. I like this feature since it holds bottle securely but takes awhile to change habits and remember to do this.I would buy again.

Awesome cages. Simple, clean, light, and best of all, no obnoxious logos/branding/racing stripes to clash with my beloved flat black Cervelo.Oh and holds bottles tight, too. At least the ones I use which are ENVE branded Purist MoFlo non insulated bottles.Now if anyone out there can answer this question: why do bottles and cages get so gross? I get it there’s water inside and there’s condensation. But jeez why such a mess? Bottles get scrached up and the cages get residue buildup on the inside that doesn’t really clean off. Anyone have any tips?

I put on thousands of miles on two of these bottle cages and no issues at all. Moreover, they're lighter and less expensive than almost all brand-named cages out there on the market.

$8?? Come on. This is awesome.So it's not the quality of high end ones. I'm sure it has a core of fiberglass and isn't 100% carbon. And I'm sure if you drop the bike or give it a kick it will crack.But its $8 and 20grams.... Be realistic as to how great of a product you are getting for the cost of shipping a small box.

Feels strong and fits my Gatorade bottle perfectly. Much lighter than the aluminum bottle holder that I replaced.

Great product, I like the unfinished UD carbon look of it, matches bike frame perfectly, now I have the argument for questions asked why does it look so "ugly" 😉, PERFECT! Highly recommended product!
