Holds a decent amount of line. The drag is nice. It works really well. Even has a switch for reverse spinning. Really good for the price. I will buy more as time goes on.

so its a great reel with some TLC keep in mind cheap reel cheap components so dont go in expecting a expensive quality.. it will get the job done but here is my list of cons and pros.CONS1.. sticky drag2.. ball bearings are MID3.. little to no grease in gears4.. ball bearings were DRYPROS1... light reel2.. great casting3.. great capacity for finesse braid4.. great budget ultralight fishing reel5.. frame seem sturdy and well built for 20 dollars.if your a handy person that maintains there own equipment i say go for it.but if your an average person that is to afraid of messing the reel up i say stick with other brands.BUT once i put a bit of work into it. like..new grease, drag rework and new bearings this reel came out a beast.easily beats my shimano, kastking reels plus its alot prettier then most of them.

I really like the look of the chameleon finish. I'm pretty much used to the black, gold or silver but I'm trying to get some different colors to break up the same old-same old. 11 plus one bearing gives the reel a very smooth retrieve. The handle has an oversized rubber grip on the end. The rubber grip gives you a comfortable feel anytime of the season. My only con would be the reels speed ratio. The seller suggests that the reel has a 5.2:1 high speed gear ratio. Seems a little slow to be called high speed.

Sougayilang Chameleon reel is fantastic! Color changes are sweet! But reel box had slight damage, and was not in the pristine new condition you would expect as a trusting consumer! Better shipping practices should be put in place for orders that have fragile items involved!

I have several reels from this over seas company, Sougiylang. They are big on the discount app that rhymes with emu and they have tons of listings on Amazon. I have ordered several of their rods, reels, and tackle and have always been satisfied. This reel has a terrific paint job and looks great! The reel has a nice metal spool and a good drag system. The handles is reversible easily. You can also reverse reel with this reel and there is switch to lock that if you don’t use it. I’m very satisfied with this reel and looking forward to spring so I can reel in some small ones with this.

Last time I shopped for a reel at a big box store, you couldn't get anything descent for this price. This reel functions very well. It casts well, the bail set is smooth without force. The retrieve is smooth and I personally like the iridescent paint job. Some may think it's a little cheesy, but I think it looks sharp.The drag adjusts well with clicking motion/mechanism and works as it should.The size is good for multi-species fishing. I would use this pan fishing and/or for pike or walleye.For the price range of this reel, you are getting your money's worth.

These fishing reels are comparable to Daiwa and Shimano in my opinion. The action is smooth, and the drag can easily be set to meet your needs. The bails flip easily, and the instant anti-reverse is my favorite feature. There's no slop when setting the hook. Spool holds plenty of line and can be used for many different freshwater species depending on line size. I have several of these reels and they all work great.

The reel has a really cool paint job and I am sure will get the attention of many other anglers. The handle and spool operate pretty smoothly and the drag tension has worked fine so far. The anti reverse switch has done it's job so far and I don't see it being problematic anytime in the near future.Something you will notice in many spinning reels in lower price ranges is there is a little bit of wiggle that can let the handle go backwards just a degree or two when anti reverse is locked out. This is the similar concept of a lower price ratchet versus a higher priced one. The secret is the number of teeth in the gearing. Larger less teeth allows a little more variance in performance than gearing with a greater number of tighter teeth. This performance can show up in how smooth the reel will turn while under load fighting a larger fish. A little of this play is expected in this price range of reel and I would not let that deter my decision if I was looking for a reel that will get things done without spending too much.
