Great puzzle! The ~30% of the puzzle that's all-black may seem daunting, but it's strangely freeing to be able to concentrate on just the shape (and ignore the picture).

My daughter is a puzzle fanatic. She loves to do them and prides herself on being able to do them quickly. I'm always looking for ones that offer a challenge. This one took her longer than normal. I was so happy. Even the cat approved. It looked good and was fun to do.

The most difficult puzzle I've ever done. Ive finished a 3000 piece puzzle that was easier. Most of the pieces are extremely oddly shaped. There are pieces that fit incredibly closely with others, but ultimately are not the right fit. This will in turn throw you off for hours or even days, on end, looking for the right piece. Takes a flashlight to really measure if the pieces are the correct fit for one another. (Happens with the black pieces). Since doing this puzzle over again is out of the question, framing it was great satisfaction.

My wife and I were really looking forward to this one. We had done harder puzzles in the past, including one where the picture was printed on both side but oriented 90 degrees with respect to each other (and cut so well you could not tell which side you were working with)!The first thing we noticed right out of the box was the unusual amount of jigsaw puzzle "dust" in the box. Most puzzle makers either don't produce as much dust when they cut the puzzle or remove most of it afterward. The second thing was the large number of individual pieces still attached to each other at a corner by a small amount of material--all indicative of a poor cutting job.Obviously, this is a difficult puzzle, so it seems to me the quality of the pieces should be very high. Instead, my frustration level was very high, as It was basically impossible to tell in many instances if you were fitting the right pieces together. Like I said, we have assembled tons of puzzles, including several more difficult than this one, so this wasn't exactly our first rodeo. The poor quality of this one was a real disappointment.

Fantastic challenge of a jigsaw puzzle.It took me 4 weeks to assemble and I had to use a flashlight to see the very faint coloring incorporated into the black pieces! All said,I enjoy a good challenge as I have been a puzzler all of my life.Beautiful when completed.

Love the shape and details; however, it definitely can be a bit intimidating and somewhat aggravating because of all the colors, mostly black.

Lotsa black to make it hard to assemble.

Finally, after 20 days, I have completed this difficult puzzle. Although it's hard with the solid black background, you must be patient, piece by piece, and then the result is worthy. Very beautiful puzzle.
