Review: Excellent, Dense piece of Expert Writing - This is one of many sources I am investing in as reference for another body of writing. This piece of writing is top notch, expert technical writing. It is not exactly light reading but as a layman on space technology, it is also very easy for someone like myself to consume the subject matter. Solid quality writing with many diagrams and photos. Only started skimming through some sections but the table of contents and the breakdown of the sections covers all the broad areas you would expect from propulsion to Thermal Control, Telemetry, Electrical Power Systems, etc, in self-contained sections.
Review: Very nice comprehensive book - It has a very wide and detailed coverage. Excellent to get a general perspective on systems engineering, specially as applied to earth orbiting satelites and probes.

An exceptional text! Far reaching and comprehensive. Extremely well written and edited. One of the finer, more informative and interesting reads I have come across in a long time. Well worth the cost and certainly worthy of a second review of many of the topics covered. It has garnered a place on my bookshelf for many years to come. A tip of the hat and kudos to the authors!
