It cooks all sorts of other things like rice, vegetable
This cooker came promptly in a cube box with a lot of helpful information around it. It cooks all sorts of other things like rice, vegetable, soup, and more. It looks like to be my best friend.I cook and eat rice almost three times a day. To make rice, I put raw rice into the inner pot using the measuring cup first. Then I poured water, rinsed it enough to clean rice, and put fresh water up to the water level written inside the inner pot. Then I simply put the pot into the rice cooker, closed the lid, turned it on, and pressed a button. You can also press on the Preset to schedule your meal for up to many hours hours. This feature was handy when I set it in the morning, went to work, and came back to find this cooker finishing up cooking my rice.I found that the cooked rice is puffy and soft. There are many cheaper alternatives with a single switch that can cook or keep warm. This rice cooker can also keep warm, but it can also delay up to may hours hours, which is perfect to get it ready for coming home after work or for get it ready in the morning before going to bed. I’ve tried out a few rice cooker myself, and this works perfectly to prepare some steamy rice that’s just right. This praise is coming from an Asian housewife grew up eating rice everyday, and are cooking for three young kids every day!I has also tried several time to steam vegetables. This function works like a charm. Steamed food is very fresh, clean, healthy. I am looking forward to trying many other functions in the near future. Finally, the price for such a nice cooker is unbelievable is very good

STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK
Worked great for a few months and then the latch that holds the top lid closed broke. I tried to put it back but it keeps popping out. This rice cooker is junk. If you want to throw away your 100 bucks, go ahead and buy this garbage. Otherwise, look somewhere else. Very disappointed with this item and cant' even return it anymore. GARBAGE!!!!*** SEE PHOTOS!!!***

Instruction manual causes the lose of a star
I received this rice cooker yesterday and I've already used it three times! All recipes turned out amazing! The only issue I have is the instruction manual. Absolutely incomprehensible. I had to google the directions, and read all reviews to make sense of the cooker. The main issue I had was a loading screening after pressing "function," "cook," and "start" when I was trying to cook basic rice. I didn't think the cooker was working because it didn't give me a time. This is my first rice cooker, so I wasn't familiar with how they work. Turns out, that loading screen is completely normal and it won't give you a time when you're cooking rice. It will only give you a time closer to the rice being done.Other than that, I love it! I've made fried rice, apple oatmeal, and rice pudding so far and they were delicious!

Overcooks rice, poor manual, overpriced.
This is quite literally the worst rice cooker I have ever used. It overcooks the rice into some sort of mush - not even sticky rice, just mushy. The process of doing this takes a super long time too (1.5 cups cooks for like 50 minutes, but it's already overcooked by 30 minutes). The 13 modes aren't really helpful because you have no idea what most of them do (yogurt? crust? what does that even mean?). The manual is horribly translated - we're talking worse than Google translate here (which is already hilariously bad, right), they must have used Baidu translate or something. That wouldn't have been a problem honestly if they also provided the original Chinese, because then I could at least get a proper translation (but they only included the horribly translated English manual, so no dice there). If you watch it carefully and interrupt before it starts overcooking, it makes passable rice. However if I wanted to do this, I could buy a $5 iron pot and get the same quality... for $100 this is a complete ripoff.I'm not clear how this gets 4.5 stars average review here :\

Does a great job cooking rice. Manual is complete gibberish.
The rice cooker seems to do a great job of producing great rice. It comes out just right, whether you are cooking a small amount of rice or a big one. I bet a lot of the other modes and features would be equally great, if only the manual weren't utterly useless.I'm willing to bet at least the price of a new rice cooker that just feeding the original Chinese manual into your favorite auto-translation website would have done a better job than whoever translated the English manual that came with this thing. It might make a great party game to pass it around the room and try to figure out what the hell is going on, but if you need to use the manual to figure out how to make rice pudding (which the box claims it can do), you're in very serious trouble. The pot inside is very easy to clean, and the handle is a nice addition, but the cooker as a whole does seem substantially larger than other rice cookers I've used with the same capacity.

I love it!
An excellent, reasonably priced multi-functional rice cooker that is probably as good as those cost over $200. It has many functions. I so far used it mainly for rice. and it really works. The cooker is soft, puffy and tasty. When I first try to use the cook to cook rice, I was frustrated a bit because I couldn't find the "Rice" function. It uses "Cook" instead of "Rice". I don't know why but I would prefer "Rice" over "Cook". But I guess that it makes sense since rice is supposed to be the default function of this cooker anyway. Once i know that "Cook" is for rice, it does not matter any more. I thought that an expensive cooker will have selections for different types of rice. Well, for this cooker, there is no need to select rice type and cooking time. Just the "Cook" function. It works amazingly well for several types of rice I have tested these two days. The rice comes out perfectly for me each time, and the warming feature keeps it fresh for a lot longer than my previous rice cooker, without burning the bottom layer to a hard shell.
