This is really rather lovely. It has a bit of an old fashioned style about it and, in my cottage, it fits perfectly.It works perfectly too. I love that these lamps are all the range now as they're perfect for when you have little children running around or pets wagging their tails everywhere and you can safely use your candles and scented candles without the fear of your home burning down.It obviously also saves you on your scented candles doing it this way, so I'm all for it.

If you are worried about naked flames then this is a good alternative to get the scent of candles without the risk. It does work well to melt the candle and is adjustable and well made. Definitely more of a traditional look to it if that is your vibe. If you don't mind spending the money it works well.

I ordered this as I absolutely love to burn candles around the house, but am consciously aware that we shouldn't leave them burning unattended, and sometimes am not able to burn them for the few hours that larger ones recommend.The candle warmer itself is well made, feels sturdy, and came with two bulbs. When turned on, it does have a tendency to get VERY hot though, and started to melt the top of my desk, which was a massive pain.

Safer than having a lit candle and works just as well. The head is adjustable so you can have it lower or higher than shown in the photos. Looks good and stands up well with a nice well finished base. Good quality all around for the price.

This has blow up with such a powerful bang that the glass has penetrated the candle wax and ruined a new/expensive candle. Shards or glass have shot across the room. Unfortunately can not rate a zero.

Well, this certainly works.When I first turned it on I was sceptical. Even with the light as low down as it would go I didn't think it would melt the wax. I tried it with a cleaned out supermarket baked cheese ramekin and a hastily purchased wax melt. The switch allows you to set the timer and the strength of the lamp. After choosing the medium setting, in no time at all the air was full of the smell of the baby powder scented wax and the dish was a pool of liquid. In the end I was impressed at how effective it is.I don't entirely "get" the product. I thought it was maybe a space saving device that combined a lamp and candle, but the light only works on a timer so it must be for people who would rather have a hot electric bulb burning than a candle flame. Perhaps because of the smoke?There's no doubt it does as advertised.

This is a substantial little lamp with an extending arm so that you can vary how high or low you want the shade to be. The bulbs do give off substantial heat therefore the timing facility on the control is really useful, you can set it for 1hr, 2hrs or 4hrs. We haven’t yet used it with a candle melt or oil (simply because we don’t have any in at the house just now) but we will get some as with three dogs it’s useful to have some nice scented candles or natural scented oils around the house. The lamp itself has a good quality wooden base with a heavy glass shade and feels substantial, therefore not easy to be knocked over which is important if you are heating candles or oils. The upper dial controls the brightness/strength of the bulb.At the current price of £49.95, it’s good value for money as it’s a nice looking quality lamp.

This is an odd product. I thought it looked really pretty and interesting but the instructions are minimal and confusing. Did not come with any candles and I am at a loss to see what kind of candles this is going to work with. It is very pretty but from what I can gather, it is not useful or practical.
