Is the foam as pictured or is it all there where I can make my own configuration?** A: The 1650 comes with 4 pieces of foam. A 1.5" for the case's lid(pictured), 2 - approx 4" Pick N Pluck foam and a 1" solid piece for the floor of the case. All but the floor piece extends the full length of the case, because of the handle a assembly. Easy to configure. Pelican's web site has some great ideas too. **Q: Does fedex charge extra if you ship ur stuff in a pelican case versus a box of the same dimensions and weight? Should you put a lock on it or wire-tie** A: FED-EX charges are based on destination and weight **Q: Is the handle on the side quite small like in in first ànd third photo, or large as in the second and fourth one ?** A: Bernd, the 1650 case that we own has a small handle like shown in the first & third photos.
