The media could not be loaded.  The Tuyaknife T1601 is an impressive knife that bats well above its budget price of $50. For starters, the G10 handle scales are intricately milled and contoured to provide a comfortable and secure grip. They also look amazing. The 3.5" blade is made of D2 tool steel which has much better performance than the 8Cr13MoV you usually get in this price category. The clip point blade has a high flat grind that starts at a beefy 4mm but thins out nicely at the edge. This knife came screaming sharp and slices like a laser. It easily shaves hair and whittles thin curls out of paper. I chose the version with stonewashed flats and a satin blade finish.What makes this knife so great are the little details that show that much thought was put into the design. Fit and finish is excellent with the handle scales lining up with the liners evenly. The steel liners are milled out to reduce the weight of the knife without sacrificing strength. The flipper tab is perfectly shaped and has no sharp edges. It does have some jimping (notches) so that your finger never fails to deploy the blade.The action on this knife is crisp and super smooth thanks to the ceramic ball bearings in the pivot. The detent is just right and the blade shoots out with authority. Lockup is tight with absolutely no play in the blade in any direction. The liner lock is easy to access and disengage thanks to some thoughtful jimping. The blade easily falls shut under its own weight with a slight shake. The pocket clip places the knife deep in the pocket for discreet carry.The T1601 is exactly the kind of knife I look for: a great value. It's very well made and attention has been placed to the details. The materials are good quality and the knife functions well and is very comfortable to use. Best of all, I feel like I got much more than my money's worth. I am an avid collector of knives and of course have a limited budget for my hobby. Not every knife out there is worth what you paid for it, and very few offer the kind of performance that this model does. Did I mention that they include a free cleaning cloth with the knife? I thought that was a nice touch and a bonus on top of the great knife.If you're curious about this knife and wonder if Tuyaknife makes a good product, the answer is definitely YES!

Sure, for a probable majority of people this knife may be regarded as a bit large. So, for those of you though like me, who aren't bothered by a 5 oz. knife that's also 5" long folded. Then you, like me will be very happy with this well built, well thought out, & attractive large size pocket knife. Highly recommend! Buy it..

Great snappy action, fit and finish is good, I like the contoured G10 handle, the blade centering is perfect, no hot spots.It passed the test.

This is a great quality knife. It arrived quickly and comes in a sturdy box which also includes a microfiber cloth. The blade flips open with authority and deployment is very smooth,as the pivot rides on bearings Lockup is solid...no blade play or lock rock and the blade is perfectly centered. The detent is relatively strong and I’m unable to deploy the blade by gravity force. Blade is made of fairly thick D2 steel with a nice front choil for sharpening ease and is very sharp out of the box. The fit and finish is good with no sharp or unfinished edges. The ergonomics are good and it fits my hand very well. The machined pattern on the G10 scales provides great grip for your hand. Nice stainless steel liners provide great structural integrity but are also weight relieved to reduce the weight. Nice touch. Various areas of gimping on the flipper tab, top of the blade and on the lower edge of the scales also increase the ability to grip this knife with confidence. This knife has a deep carry pocket clip for right hand tip up carry. This knife is not a lightweight gentleman carry,it’s a knife for heavy use in various rugged tasks. Great quality knife for the price. I recommend this knife without hesitation.

Knife opens effortlessly. The blade was sharpenough to shave with, and the D2 steel blade is easy to keep that way.
