Replacement Side Door USB-C HDMI Door Repair Part For GoPro HERO6 Black & HERO5 Black

Door fits perfectly... a bit hard to install until I discovered how to extend the part that clicks onto the small bar that serves as the “hinge” in the camera (push on the replacement door button and at the same time physically push the small “o ring square” on the inside of the door forward extending the hinge attachment... it then easily clips onto the bar in the camera body)... would be helpful if manufacturer of the replacement door included installation instructions.

So at first I was worried that this wasn't going to be the exact match to what my team and I needed... but sure enough it was a perfect fit for our Hero 6. Unfortunately, it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to figure out how to install it... but after 5-10 minutes of messing around with it we eventually figured it out! Highly recommend upgrading your rubber door to this one!

It fit perfectly, no gaps, total confidence that the GoPro will not take in water. I was a little concerned after reading previous reviews. Could not be happier with the product

I purchased this 2/2019 to have as a spare and just today 5/16/20, I swapped it out due to the other one broke. This one does not fit and since I am taking it about a foot underwater. Do not buy from China either

Works on my Hero7 black. I knocked off one star for outside fit which looks bad, but is only cosmetic. The square inside gasket fits well in its recess and it is water proof as tested on my 7. To install you need to press the button and extend the hinge square gasket part and put it on the pin then keep it extended while you press the square gasket into its recess then push the end in to lock it. The outside part is not what seals this door from water so the gap will not affect the seal, but it does look bad.

Not sure what all the others are on about. Mine for perfect, looked like oem, and held it seawater for several days with no issues. Could not all for better!

Title says it all. I lost the original door for my Hero5 and bought this one for a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. Camera was in my pocket and it seemed okay at first so I didn’t check it again regularly. By the time I noticed it was leaking it was too late. Camera was full of water. I took the battery out right away and tried drying it but no luck. What a waste. Of course, I just feel like an idiot for trusting this door. An angry idiot.

Put it on my GoPro 5 Black and it leaked. I got lucky it was a quick test and i was able to use my shop vac with the narrow nozzle to save the camera. I bought one for the same price from GoPro that does not leak. It's even got different rubber seal and seal color.

This doesn't fit properly. Item not as described, will not be waterproof GoPro anymore.
