Surpassed my expectations.
So I didn't really need this sharpener as I already have quite a few sharpening options at my disposal. I picked this up just for the convenience of having a good portable sharpening system. I'm sure many of the people buying this probably saw reviews on YouTube same as I did, and I can confirm it's very good. I've probably sharpend about 6 knives with this sharpener and I have been very impressed with the results. If you follow the stages course to fine diamond and then course to fine ceramic and then strop you will achieve a very acceptable edge that's even shaving sharp. Overall the sharpener feels very nicely made and built to last and even if your inexperienced the guided angles make it easy to use. This could make a perfect sharpener for someone who just needs to occasionally bring back the edge to their pocket knife or a great little on the go sharpener for someone in trades or outdoors types.

Awesome bit of kit
I own a number of knives, mostly outdoor knives of different sizes, and im fairly new to sharpening with whet stones and the like. Previously i had bought a whetstone which did not do the job to well for me, partly down to my inexperience and partly down to the fact that it was the wrong grit and material for the steel i wanted to sharpen (even though it said on the listing it was the right one for the job). I found it a minefield with so many options for whet stones, they were messy and easy to mess up your knife edge. This tool however i have found to be the opposite of that. It works GREAT on S30V steels, and has loads of options all in one tidy place. It did an excellent job, was very easy to use - having a leather strop included is great and its VERY good value for money. Highly recommend this for people that just want to get great results with no mess or fuss. Its very portable, easy to clean and can sharpen anything, serrated edges, axes, arrow broad heads, fish hooks and perfect for pocket knives or varying lengths. Great work WorkSharp

I am a beginner, but tomato sharp knife after my first attempt
Previously I tried using whetstone to sharpen the knifes, but keeping consistent angle seemed an impossible task so I gave up.Now, I have spent 2 hours researching sharpeners and wanted to go with a tungsten carbide V shape one as both me and my wife could use it. But reading the damage caused to knifes, I continued the research on.After one Youtube video recommended to try out this model speaking highly of it, I received it today. All 10 knifes are tomato-certified-sharp. Would need to work on my angle stability and get a feel for how long each stage needs to last to perfect the tool. Ie. 3 strokes vs 6 strokes before moving to leather, etc.Nevertheless, wholeheartedly recommend as a beginner 9/10 to a friend.I loved that the coarsest diamond grit is included as it helped to speed up the process for dull knifes. Also, my two-side serrated knife would be impossible to sharpen without the round ceramic surfaces - no problem here. One downside is the smaller size of it. I am not an outdoor person, so I would buy a larger version of the tool in an instant. But it got the job done building the burr over multiple passes.I am not touching my Japanese knifes for now, need to build the skill and figure out how to sharpen that 10 degree angle and single side edge only.Another downside: because it's smallish, it's hard to maintain the angle if I want to keep edge away from myself to be on the safe side. For larger knifes, you have to hold the edge and the handle with both hands for stability, so I need to figure out how to stop the sharpener from moving on the surface.Tip 1: as per instructional video, be super careful not to have any burr with serrated knife when moving to the last leather stage. I scratched my leather at places, so a lesson learned. Work on the ceramic side until no burr is remaining.Tip 2: watch the official instructional video on youtube, it's good and provides many potential pitfalls. Some other videos by youtubers seem confident, but I lost trust in them when I saw them not alternating sides on the ceramic/leather side for burr removal, etc.

Works well, happy with purchase
Sharpens knives very well, the multi grit surfaces helps to get a fine edge. The ceramic rod was slightly damaged out of the box, but different prove to be much of a problem as I was able to sand this down myself to make it functional, ensuring it didn’t cause any fine scratches. Overall happy with my purchase.

Quality produce
This is such a great knife sharpener, not only when you’re “out in the field” but it’s also great at home too! I have a few Victorinox knives and this makes short work off bringing the blade back to life.
